Woman are incredible and strong.
I knew that even when I was much younger than I am today. My share for this video – I am a Woman – came from an old summer assignment that I did when I was transitioning to high school. If you don’t know what a summer assignment is, the pit stop on the post is noted in the video.
I had so many strong and powerful women surrounding me growing up that I understood from an early age that women are capable of anything that they put their minds to. I am grateful that I had all those aunts, cousins, grandmothers, and friends around me who showed me what it meant to be amazing.
I think when I wrote this post back then, I was trying to reflect that in my writing.
