Pillory Beach is all I can speak to in Grand Turk. We skipped the tours and went for a dip at the beach. This was our last chance to catch the waves on our vacation and we didn't want to miss it. The water was as expected, warm, beautiful, and ready for swimming.
San Juan, Puerto Rico was beautiful!! I wish I could've stayed longer. I also wish we didn't take that taxi 'tour', but you live, you learn. Hear how we spent our day and check out all the pics, including those of the mofongo we filled our bellies with!!
Everybody gives you the list of what to pack, but how about a list of what not to pack. Cruise lines today carry so much that if you were super efficient, all you'd have to walk with is a wallet and you could get everything you need off the ship. But for the rest of us, here is what you don't need to lug in your suitcase because the ship already has it FOR FREE!! Plus, some other things you shouldn't over-pack.
