I was reading over one of my old Facebook Notes which was about these two characters from a book that I was writing at the time. In it, the boy was trying to tell his friend that he was in love with a girl who didn’t know it yet. His friend was trying to tell him that from the way that he was speaking and acting, it couldn’t possible that he loved the girl because it was all in his mind. The boy rebutted with his response being that he was conscious enough to know the decision that he was making with his head.
Sometimes when people talk about love, they go about it as a lovey-dovey feeling that happens and that’s when you know it’s love. Others take a more practical (or less touchy-feely) approach when choosing who they want to spend the rest of their life with.
Is either approach wrong? No.
Can you pick who you want to love? Sure.
Does that mean it’ll last forever? Who knows.
Does it mean not to take chances on love? HELL NO. Love Away.
